Participants from Kenyatta University engaged in a productive discussion with Dr. Godwin Opinde regarding their fieldwork research topics. Our team from the University for Development Studies in Ghana gathered at the Nyankpala campus for a meaningful engagement with CESDA Coordinator Nashiru Sulemana. The Acclimatise students had an insightful session with Dr. Almas Mazigo and Dr. Lilian Mulamula from the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM). A physical meeting was held at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi. The meeting was led by the KNUST project coordinator, Dr. Camillus Abawiera Wongnaa, and passionate student participants The Acclimatize students at Kenya Methodist University gathered for an important meeting led by our facilitator, Dr. John Muchiri. Exciting moments as 15 participants from Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo taking the acclimatise course joined a strategic session alongside Dr. Atanda -Director of Research Management and international Programmes, Olushola Fadairo, Dr. Adesina and Ganiyu. Cordinator and Deputy Coordinator. Mesharck Lesomonjo, a student at the University of Nairobi, conducted a research study on the subject of disaster risk assessment and community awareness of climate change, adaptation, and mitigation. The study was carried out in Laikipia County.
